My Little Pony

About: I love Instructables but rarely get time to post anything.

This is a very pretty pony, and a good project for beginning to intermediate knitters because it's fairly easy to make. I really enjoyed making it. It wasn't one of those projects that never seems to end.
Babies and toddlers love to carry it around.
I think this can be made with many kinds of yarn, but I just used some plain old brown yarn that had been used for another project and was just lying around. I used size six needles for it. Also, I think I would do it exactly the same if I did it again.
The pattern I bought somewhere, but here is a link to where you can buy a different, but fairly similar horse(pony) pattern on ebay.
Or use this free Horse Pattern
Here are instructions on how to do some of the stitches you will need to knit this horse(pony).

Cast On
Cast Off (AKA "bind off" or "binding off")

I am a hardcore My little pony: friendship is magic fan and I would love to see one of these in the likeness of one of the characters. My favorite is Fluttershy.

We'd love to see it, too. Try the free pattern link and show us how it's done!

Definitely cute! Maybe a mane/tail to match the button eye color?

Cute! I myself (and Adrian monk) have never seen a knitted horse either! Great job!
