Lugging heavy bags to school, college and office adds to the problem, as this makes one tend to stoop. The main cause, as is apparent, is wrong posture. Of course, there are many other reasons for back pain, such as age, injury and slipped disc, but bad posture is one of the main culprits.In a pan, add 4-5 tlbsp of coconut oil.To this, add 6 cloves of peeled garlic cloves.Fry these well till they turn dark brown.Gently massage this onto the affected area.Take about a 1” piece of fresh ginger.Slice this very finely, and put it in a pan of water.Bring it to a boil, and then simmer gently for about 10 minutes.Cool it till it is lukewarm, and strain it.Now add honey to taste, and drink a couple of times a day.Instead of ginger, boil some tulsi or basil leaves, strain, and have with a pinch of salt. Put a cup of water in a pain.To this add 1/4 tsp of saunth, or ginger powder, 6 peppercorns and 3-4 cloves.Boil this gently for about 8-10 mins.Cool, strain and drink.Peel some fresh ginger, and make a paste of it.Apply this over the area of pain, and then apply coconut oil.Take equal quantities of khus khus, or poppy seeds, and mishri, or sugar candy.Have a tsp of this with a glass of milk a couple of times a days.Backache can impair your lifestyle, so make sure you pay attention to your posture and avoid lifting heavy weights.
