Notice Board

Hello!

In this instructable I want to show you how to make this notice board.

It's created in a way that you can choose how big it has to be!

Step 1: Tools and Materials

What tools do you need:

- a cutter

- a saw

- a screwdriver

- measering tools

What materials do you need:

- Cork (thickness 4mm)

- 4 screws or 2 hangers

- Wood (18-25mm, you can choose the lenghts)

- 4 3D printed hook profiles (see stl-file)

Step 2: Print

3D print the hook profiles

Step 3: Saw the Wood

Start bij sawing the wood in the desired lenght.

You don't need to saw the wood in miter.

Step 4: Cut the Cork

The easiest way to do this is when you put the wood and hook profiles together and cut the cork around the framework. It is recommended to cut the edges a centimeter smaller afterwards.

Step 5: Put the Hook Profiles Over the Cork

There is a provided space in the hook profile where you can slide the cork in.

Step 6: Stick the Wooden Bars in the Hook Profiles

There is a provided space in the hook profile where you can stick the wood.

The cork will clamp against the wood. In this way the 3 materials are secured to each other.

Step 7: Screw

Now you can screw the notice board to the wall. Put each screw close to a corner and it's almost certain that you will screw in the provided hole of the hook profile.

When you don't want to screw in the cork, you can also use a little glue to glue the cork, wood and profile against each other and use 2 hangers to hang the board.
