-Oats soup is creamy and healthy too.It is prepared very easily with few ingredients.
-1/4 cup oats
-Half cup water
-2 cups milk
-Finely chopped garlic (one clove)
-Finely chopped onions(2 tbsp)
-Finely chopped carrot(2 tbsp)
-salt as per taste
--pinch of oregano
Step 1: Sauteing
-First take sauce pan and add few tsp oil to it. When is heated add diced garlic slices and saute until they turn little brown
-Add finely chopped onions and saute for few more minutes.
Step 2: Add Finely Chopped Carrot
-Then add finely chopped carrot and cook for some time.Dont over cook carrot and onions. they should be little crunchy.
Step 3: Add Oats
-Next add 1/4 cup oats and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 4: Add Water
Add half cup of water ,cover and cook for few minutes until the water is absorbed and oats are cooked
Step 5: Add Milk
-Add about one and half to 2 cups milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 6: Add Seasonings
-Finally add all seasonings pepper,oregano and salt as per taste
Step 7: Serve Hot
-serve soup hot with some bread sticks
