Our favorite light Sunday breakfast is Scones! from a vintage recipe (photos included)
Step 1: Mix Your Dry Ingredients and Crumble in Butter.
assemble flour and butter.
crumble in butter.
Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients and Form Dough
add your eggs and heavy cream
form a dough
split dough in half
form 2 -One inch circles 6 inches in diameter
cut each circle into 4 triangles
separate about 1 inch apart
brush with egg whites and sprinkle sugar before baking.
Step 3: Bake Your Scones
bake your scones at 400 for 15 minutes
