This is my instructable to make a sharpener out of an old jar.

Step 1: What You Need

Here is what you need:

- an old jar

- a sharpener

- a hammer

- nail or screw

- hot glue

Step 2: First the Lit

First you need to mark where your sharpener should be on the lid.

Now use your nail or screw to make holes in between the mark (picture 2) until it turnes into one line. (picture 3)

Step 3: Add the Sharpener

Now put the sharpener into the line and use your hammer to get the sharpener into the lid. It shoud look like picture 3. Be a little careful with the little screws at the sharpener when they touch the lid.

Step 4: Safety First

The edges are sharp after you pounded the sharpener into the lid (picture 1). To prevent yourself from cutting yourself or others you can put some hotglue around the sharp edges (picture 2).

Step 5: Paint It

The lid might get a bit dirty during the hammering but you can just paint it over and give it a final touch, depending on how your room or workspace is decorated.
