in this tutorial we will build a Professional RING LIGHT for less than 15/17 $/€/£
WATCH THE VIDEO or follow the steps

Step 1: Get Your Gear Out

You will need :

  • Circular CFL light (i have a philips 32W) here
  • CFL starter here
  • CFL reactor (relco F32)
  • starter and lamp holder

    But now starts the fun

Step 2: 3D PRINT

Step 3: Let's Go

Now that we have all we need we can start to put everything toghether

Step 4: Tape

use some tape around the light to make grip and prevent le light to slip

Step 5: Bolt and Nuts

Use some bolt and nuts to lock thightly the plastic holder to the CFL light

but not too strong or it will break

Step 6: Starter and Light Holder

simply plug the T9 starter holder to the light

Step 7: WIRE TIME

Use this simple electric scheme to wire everything

Use a solder to make it last long and some heat shrinking tube

I used a automatic wire stripper bought on amazon for cheap: here

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE HEAT, FIRE OR ELECTRICITY

Step 8: FIRST TRY

Try to light it up

Mount it to a Lightstand, very cheap from amazon check it out here
