Introduction: PVC Bank Fishing Rod Holder [DIY] | EP. 22

What You'll Need: 1 1/4" PVC Pipe (10 feet should be plenty), 1- 1 1/4" Cross Fitting, 3- 1 1/4" T Fittings, 1- 1 1/4" 90 Degree Fitting, 1- 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" Coupling, 1- 1 1/2" x 2" Coupling, 2" PVC Pipe (6 inches should be plenty), 1- 2" x 3" Coupling, Sawzall, Handsaw

1. Make a 4' cut on the 1 1/4" PVC Pipe

2. Use the sawzall and the handsaw to cut a 6' angle on the bottom of the PVC pipe you just cut, essentially making a steak out of the 4' piece of PVC you'll be able to put it in the ground with

3. Cut the 4' PVC piece at about 3 feet, wherever you're going to want your cup holder built in

4. Place the Tee fitting onto the new, shorter, top of the PVC pipe along with a 3" or so PVC piece sticking out horizontal to the ground

5. Place the 90 degree fitting onto that short PVC pipe piece, with the opening facing directly upwards

6. Place another 3" or so PVC piece extending upwards out of the opening of the 90 degree fitting

7. Now we'll use the couplings we have to finish off the cup holder- the 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" followed by the 2", then a 2" piece of PVC, and finally the 3" coupling finishing the cup holder

8. Grab the foot or so of the PVC pipe you cut off a few minutes ago and place that back into the top of the Tee fitting being used for the cup holder

9. Place the cross fitting on the top along with two 6" PVC pieces coming out of each side horizontal with the ground

10. Finally, finish off the rod holder with the last two Tee fittings that will act as the actual rod holders, placing these at about a 45 degree angle

11. Last but not least, glue this masterpiece together so it's strong and doesn't come undone when you snag your first fish on the line
