Introduction: PVC Trumpet

This is a very basic trumpet that I designed for a history project. You can play a few notes with it, and it is very good for being annoying.  There are no keys, so everything you play is based on your mouth. Once again, this is very basic, and you wouldn't want to preform with this.

Step 1: Materials

Materials:
-PVC pipe 2'
-1 piece of paper
-1 empty water bottle
-Good tape
-Saw

Step 2: Fold the Paper

Take your paper, and fold it twice, like shown on pictures. Then wrap it around one end of the PVC, and secure with tape. This will be your mouthpiece.

Step 3: Gut the Bottle

Take your water bottle, and cut the top off, where the funnel stops growing. then stick it on the other end of the PVC pipe, and secure it with the tape.

Step 4: Your Done!

Congrats! You made a basic trumpet! Now here are some tips, and modifications you could add:
-To blow into it, you need to buzz into it. just try a few times, and eventually you will get it.
-change the length of the PVC. I made one about 7 feet long, and I got a techno-metal sound.
-Upgrade the mouthpiece. The paper mouthpiece will disintegrate within a day of playing.
-Try some different funnels.
-Try to make different sounds and pitches
-See how many people you can annoy
That's about it!
