Paper Bag!

Paper bag is a simple bag made from paper. The idea of this bag is to replace the use of plastic bags which most of the time pollute the environment. Paper bag can be used for carrying clothing, flowers, souvenirs, and many other light things. If you are a store owner, this bag would great to hand out to your customers to carry their own groceries.

Supplies

• 1 Sheet of Old Newspaper
• Paper Glue
• Glue Stick
• 1 Scissor

Step 1: Prepare One Sheet of Used Newspaper

Can be any type of newspaper, the glossy paper is preferably because it is stronger than any other type.

Step 2: Fold One Side of the Paper and Stick It to the Other Side As Shown in the Picture

The width of the paper bag depends on how much you fold the paper.

Step 3: Stick the Two Sides of Paper Together

You can use the paper glue. Just use the glue sufficiently, so the paper is not too wet. The box-shaped (without base and lid) will be formed at this step.

Step 4: Fold the Two Sides of This Paper, and Fold It Back Inside.

Step 5: Fold the Bottom Side

The depth of your bag depends on how much you fold the bottom side.

Step 6: Unfold the Bottom Side and Cut Each Line at the Sides

The line in each side appears because you unfold the bottom side. Cut the line until the red dot (as in the picture)

Step 7: Glue the Each Sides and Stick Them Together, So It Becomes the Base of the Bag

You can also put a piece of cardboard as the basis, to make the base stronger. The bottom part is done.

Step 8: Fold the Top Side, and Fold It Back Again Inside

How much you fold will also determine how deep is your paper bag.

Step 9: Fold Again the Top Side for Around 5 Cm

Step 10: Cut the Middle Part of the Top Side

This will be used for the handle, you can design how big is the handle.

Step 11: Voila.. Your Paper Bag Is Ready to Use
