I know I usually do 'ducttapestuff', but this time I wanted to make something that's just COLORED with duct tape!
Teachers! Did you use this instructable in your classroom?
Add a Teacher Note to share how you incorporated it into your lesson.
First, take some paper, scissors, or an exacto knife, and some duct tape.
Then fold it sort of into a triangle-type shape
Then either mark or cut where the end of the folded paper is
Then undo the fold and cut a straight strip out of the paper. That makes the paper a square, but you can make it square however you want
Then fold it into a rectangle
Make sure your creases are really good!
Then fold it again into a square. Turn it so that all four open edges are on the bottom, and the crease is on the left
Then take one flap and put your finger in it
Then sort of fold it over
So it's sort of like a triangle with a almost half square on the side
Then flip it over and do that on the other side
Then take one flap and fold it and line it up with the crease in the middle
Do that on the other side
Now flip it over and do that on the sides
Then take ANOTHER flap and fold it into the middle
Do that on the other side an flip it over and do that on both sides
Then take a flap from the top, (if its not on the top it's in the bottom) and put it into the little pocket created
Them do it on both sides , flip it over and do it on those sides
Then cut four 4" strips
Then center it on the balloon
Then pull apart the two flaps and fold over the excess duct tape
Then fold over one of the flaps,
Then center some duct tape on that, and separate some flaps and fold over the excess duct tape
Do that on all sides so it looks like this:
