Cute quilling baby footprints design

This design can be used to decorate a greeting card for a young lady who is expecting a child or for parents to remember them the blessing they have received with each of their children.

Step 1:

Needed tools:

  • 4 strips of paper (20 cm/8")
  • 2 strips of paper (10 cm/4")
  • 8 strips of paper (5 cm/2")
  • glue
  • slotted tool
  • needle tool
  • circle sizer ruler
  • tweezers (optional)

Step 2:

Insert a strip of paper (20 cm/8") into the slotted tool.

Start rolling the paper strip.

Step 3:

This is a tight circle.

Remove the tight circle from the tool.

Step 4:

Place the coil into the Circle Sizer Ruler (Size3) and let it expand. Then take it out.

Step 5:

Glue the end of the strip.

Hold the loose circle between your fingers to help it glue.

Step 6:

Hold the loose circle between your fingers and with the other hand pinch a point on it.

This is a quilled teardrop shape.

Repeat the process until you have 4 curved teardrops.

Step 7:

Next, take the 2 strips of paper (10 cm/4") and create two tight circles.

These are the two tight cirles.

Step 8:

Use the 8 strips of paper (5 cm/2") and create eight tight circles.

Step 9:

Arrange the pieces as above.
