Parable8 - an Independent Film Studio

For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to make movies that could affect people. After spending a decade working on my own films and graduating from film school, I'm ready to take the next step toward something bigger.

That's where Parable8 comes in. My goal with Parable8 is to craft films that are not only powerful, but also on par with anything that is released through the Hollywood studio system. No cheesy, low-quality cat videos here!  If people are going to take Parable8 films seriously, then they have to look and feel like a quality experience.

If I were to win the $25,000 prize in the Jack Daniel's Independence Project, most of those funds would go into purchasing equipment such as set lighting, props, lenses, and for hiring professional actors.  A portion would also be put toward building the company website and marketing at parable8.com. Work on the first Parable8 film, Sanctuary, has already begun, and winning this prize money would ensure that all necessary resources would be available to make it a film that will have the huge impact that I'm hoping for.

As I've said, I have many years of experience in film production, so this business would be ready to hit the ground running from the moment the funds are received.  This has always been my one dream in life, and no matter what, I plan on making it a reality.
