In this video I show you how to build a small but powerful directional antenna for 5.8GHz. What makes this antenna perform so well is the parabolic reflector. This picks up the signal missed by the driven element and focuses it back on the driven element. Although you can achieve a similar effect with a flat reflector, as I show in the test of this antenna a parabola is much more efficient.
