Step 1: Remove

Remove glass and backing and lay picture frame flat on newspaper or table cloth.

Step 2: Prime

Prime picture frame with white paint to achieve best color and reduce number of coats of paint.

Step 3: Paint

Paint three color blocks leaving minimal space between colors for blending.

Step 4: Blend Colors

Blend the colors with a paint brush to achieve a more natural effect.

Step 5: Dry Time

Touch up any mistakes and allow paint to dry, it will look matte.

Apply one layer of glitter paint and allow 15 minute to dry. (Optional step)

Step 7: Feather Time

Place feathers on the picture frame.

Step 8: Mod Podge

Apply 1 layer of Mod Podge and then replace feathers on the frame.  Apply 3-4 total layers of Mod Podge to seal the feathers to the frame.  Allow to dry 20 minutes between coats. Little furry assistants always help pass the time between applying coats.

Step 9: Seal
