Penny Can Stove

A small penny can stove is usefully for camping or a survival kit. I won't waste any more time let's get to it

Step 1: Materials/tools

Your will need

2 cans
a cutting tool
small nail
fule for stove (isopropyl alcohol ect)

Step 2: Cutting the Cans

you will need to cut the bottoms off the cans. One should be slightly bigger then the other.

Step 3: Punching the Holes

Using your hammer and nail make a number of holes around the parameter of one of the cans. also add in 5 holes in the center.

Step 4: Joining the to Half's

now you shout push the to half's of the can together if the top one splits like my one did then your still ok to keep going as long as it's only the top and isn't taller then the bottom can

Step 5: Add the Fule, Light and Your Dun

just pour the fule into the 5 holes in the center and the light then place a coin over them. you can heat the bottom first then hold the flame to the holes or try and light it as it's pouring in just be careful and if you can have some form of a fire extinguisher. sorry that I couldn't show it working it is to stormy out to light and I can't do it inside. thanks so much for reading - JoshGeoghegan.

Just in time for Hurricane Matthew. Expect to be feeling it in a couple hours. Never can have enough survival tips!

thanks for the nice comment let's just hope you don't have to use it. I'm in Ireland so I won't be getting it (thank you captain obvious) hope that it isn't to bad over there.

thanks to everyone who has read or commented on this I would like to add that I found a better way of doing it where instead of having 5 holes just remove the center with a can opener but that's not my idea so I won't be updating it just thought you guys should know that that works better.

yes to some degree it is. I won't recommend relying on this alone if you are using it have another back up just in case and also I should have mentioned ware gloves when making it i cut my hand a small bit so ware gloves!
