Introduction: Perfectly Organized Mini Sewing Box

About: I am a Makeup Artist, crafter, party lover and mother.

If you travel or even if you don't you know a sewing kit is a must in every home or suitcase. With this mini sewing box you won't have to look everywhere just to sew a button, you'll have everything you need for an emergency.

Step 1: Materials

Watch box. Mine was 3x4 inches.

2 Paper straws

Threads

Black cardboard

Needles

Bottons

Pins

Little scissors

Glue gun

Scissors

Step 2: Mini Thread Reels

Cut the paper straws in little pieces to make the thread reels. Try to cut them all in the same size.

Step 3: Thread

Choose a color of thread and put it around one of the pieces of paper straw. It doesn't need to be too much as this is an emergency sewing kit. Once you've finished cut two little lines in the upper part of the straw to hold the thread in place.

Do the same with as many colors as you want.

Step 4: First Divider

Cut a long strip of cardboard to fit the height of your box and tu make a squared "U" to keep the threads in place.

Step 5: Second Divider

Cut another strip of cardboard and curve it with the edge of a table. Use the glue gun to make a circle. This doesn't have to be too big because we still need space for the scissors.

Step 6: Needle Holder

Cut a rectangle and put three needles in it. This will make them be very visible and have spare needles just in case.

Step 7: Glue in Place

Put some glue in the lower part of the cardboards and glue them to the inside of the box.

Step 8: Fill

Fill it with all your things. The upper part will be for the little thread reels, in the round compartment you can put buttons and pins. Then the scissors and the needle holder.

There you have it! A great way to reuse a watch box and get a perfectly organized mini sewing kit!
