Introduction: Pinterest Inspired - DIY Makeup Board Tutorial

Spring is here and it's time to organize your makeup collection! I was inspired by a Pinterest post I saw. This DIY magnetic makeup board is a great way to have quick access to the daily makeup items I use (or most often used). I loved how this idea turned out definitely a pinterest pass!!

Step 1: You Will Require a Metallic / Magnetic Sheet

I was able to find this at the dollar store it was meant to be a magnetic calendar. Sometimes you have to think outside the box for DIY projects and that's what makes them fun :)

Step 2: Measure the Magnetic Sheet and Cut Out If Necessary

Measure the magnetic sheet that it fits into the frame, if it doesn't not to worry it can be easily cut out with regular scissors.

Step 3: Wrap the Magnetic Sheet

You want a nice colorful background for your frame, I used wrapping paper to wrap it. If you want you can also use fabric as well. I taped it rather than glued it so that way it's easier to change up the color if I wanted to change the background.

Step 4: Glue on the Magnets to the Makeup

Next, using a glue gun you want to glue on the magnets onto the makeup packaging. Make sure to put the glue directly on the makeup packaging rather than the magnet because it sticks better.

Step 5: Assemble Your Masterpiece

Now that you have magnets on all your makeup that you want you are ready to assemble the makeup onto the frame in whichever design you prefer.

Step 6: All Done

All done, you can hang the frame on the wall or just put it over your book shelf, enjoy :)
