Introduction: Pizza Rolls!

Pizza Rolls!
These are a family favorite! Think of them as a savory cinnamon roll!

They are fast to make, just about 30-40 minutes.

They usually all get eaten immediately, but they save or freeze well too!

Step 1: Ingredients

First mix up a batch of roll dough...this is the best one and it only takes 30 minutes!

In mixing bowl add:

1 3/4 C. Warm Water

1/4 C. sugar

1/2 C oil

3 Tbsp yeast

(this is the yeast I use. Instant yeast.)

Let set for 15 minutes.

The yeast will rise and grow.

Then add:

1/2 Tbsp Salt

2 beaten eggs

5 1/4 C. Flour

Mix.

This recipe makes 48 pizza rolls.

You will also need pizza toppings!

I use Prego Spaghetti Sauce

Pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, green peppers, green onions, bacon, chicken, etc...

And shredded cheese.

Step 2: Making Rolls.

Split the dough into 4 equal parts.
Then roll out 1 part in a long rectangle...about 6-8 inches tall.

Add pizza sauce

Add toppings...not too close to the edges...although some spill-over is unavoidable.

Add cheese!

Now, carefully roll up the dough into a long tube.

(Start with the bottom egde, folding it over and then rolling)

Use scissors to cut the tube into 12 pieces.
Place on a silicone mat for baking.

Let them rise for 10 minutes, then bake at 400* for 12 minutes.

Step 3: Dip and Enjoy!

Great with a side of dipping sauce!

This is a fun way to serve pizza! I never have left-overs. Kids and adults alike just love these!
