Step 1: Supplies
Favorite card game
Travel soap box
Hot glue gun
Step 2: Single Deck of Cards
If you only have one deck of cards just take them out of the paper box, or leave them in if you prefer, and stick them in the soap box. Close the lid and label it with the name of the game. Don't forget to put the instructions in the box with the game so you remember how to play.
Step 3: Double Deck of Cards
If you have a double deck like Uno or Skip-Bo or any other card game with two decks you can glue two soap boxes together so you don't have to search for them separately.
First I sanded the bottom corners to give the glue a little something to "bite" onto to help hold.
Next I ran a bead of hot glue in an X from corner to corner on the bottom of the soap box.
Press the two boxes together and hold for a few seconds for the glue to set. I made sure the boxes opened on the same side but this is preference only.
Next split your double deck in half. Place one half in each side not forgetting the instructions and place a label on it.
Step 4: Go Play a Card Game!
Now you can take your cards camping or to the beach or anywhere without having to worry about them getting wet or the rubber band breaking. Now go play a card game and thanks for checking out my first instructable!
