If you over dose on Chilli powder, it could have some undesirable effects . If your on a budget, it is more economical to buy Chilli powder in a large bag, than buy Cayenne pepper in a small spice bottle .The estimated price of a large bag of Chilli powder has the same price as a very small spice bottle of Cayenne pepper .

For a healthy cardiovascular system you can take a tea spoon of chilli powder every day in a glass of water . Chillies are excellent source of Vitamin, A, B, C and E with minerals like molybdenum, manganese, folate, potassium, thiamin, and copper. Chilli contains seven times more vitamin C than orange.

Capsaicin : Chillies have vitamin C and Vitamin A containing beta-carotenoids which are powerful antioxidant. These antioxidants destroy free radical bodies. Usually, these radical bodies may travel in the body and cause huge amounts of damage to cells. These radical bodies could damage nerve and blood vessel in diabetes.

The antioxidants present in the chilli wipe out the radical bodies that could build up cholesterol causing major heart diseases such as atherosclerosis.

Chillies have antioxidants that can destroy cholesterol which could cause major disease like atherosclerosis and other heart diseases. Other disease like cataract and arthritis like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It also dilates airway of lungs which reduces asthma and wheezing.

Detoxicants : Chillies acts as detoxifiers as they removes waste products from our body and increases supply nutrients to the tissues. It also acts as gastrointestinal detoxicants helping in digestion of food.

Pain killer : Chillies stimulates the release of endorphins that are natural pain killers. It relieves pain caused due to shingles (Herpes Zoster), bursitis, diabetic neuropathy and muscle spasm in shoulders, and extremities. It also helps in relieving arthritic pains in the extremities.

Antibiotic : Chillies brings fresh blood to the site of the infection. The fresh blood fights infection. The white blood cells and leukocytes present in the fresh blood fights viruses.

Brain : Capsaicin stimulates brain to excrete endorphin and gives a sense of pleasure when ingested. This is the reason people get addicted to chilli.

Cancer : It has been noted that vitamin C, beta-carotene and folic acid found in chilli reduces the risk of colon cancer. Chillies such as red pepper have cartonoid lycopene, which prevents cancer disease.

Heart Attack : Chillies have vitamin B6 and folic acid. The vitamin B reduces high homocysteine level. High homocysteine levels have been shown to cause damage to blood vessels and are associated with a greatly increased risk of heart attack and stroke. It also converts homocysteine into other molecules which is beneficial to lower cholesterol level.

Lung disease : Chillies gives relief from nasal congestion by increasing the metabolism. It also dilates airway of lungs which reduces asthma and wheezing. It relieves chronic congestion in people who are heavy drinkers.

Cigarette smoke contains benzopyrene which destroys the vitamin A in the body. The vitamin A present in chilli reduces inflammation of lungs and emphysema caused due to cigarette smoking.

Step 2: Boiled or Bottled Water ?

While taking Chilli powder in a glass of water, it would be a good idea if the water was fit to drink . With unknown substances already present in tap water , you could get off to a good start by either boiling tap water and let it cool down for 12 hours . This would kill off anything present in the tap water and would present itself as ready to drink . Put the cooled down water from the kettle into an empty 5 Litres bottle to be used for drinking with Chilli powder .

As an alternative, you could purchase bottled water as a substitute . Drinking water with chilli powder might be unpalatable . You could flavor it with Vinegar which is also a medicine in its own right, or sweeten to taste with cordial .

Step 3: Hawthorn

Hawthorn Berry (Crateagus oxycanthus)

Hawthorn Berry Benefits

Used to promote the health of the circulatory system, treat angina, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmia and has been found to strengthen the heart. Hawthorn is widely regarded in Europe as a safe and effective treatment for the early stages of heart disease and has been used for a number of ailments including angina, myocarditis, arteriosclerosis, nervous conditions like insomnia, and diarrhea. It has also been indicated for strengthening blood vessels, vascular insufficiency and blood clots, restoring the heart muscle wall, lowering cholesterol and to aid digestion.

Animal and laboratory studies have found that hawthorn contains active compounds with antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are substances that scavenge free radicals; damaging compounds in the body that alter cell membranes, tamper with DNA, and even cause cell death. Free radicals occur naturally in the body, but environmental toxins (including ultraviolet light, radiation, cigarette smoking, and air pollution) can also increase their number.

Free radicals are believed to contribute to the ageing process as well as the development of a number of health problems including heart disease. Antioxidants found in hawthorn can neutralise free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause.

Step 4: Blood Pressure Monitor

Digital Automatic Blood pressure monitors can keep a check on your blood pressure .They also provide early warning information about the condition of your cardiovascular system .

Healthy Blood Pressure

The incidence of hypertension increases with age. In addition, excess body fat and high levels of bad cholesterol ( LDL ), which stick to the inside of blood vessels, reduces elasticity of these vessels. Hypertension accelerates arterial sclerosis which can lead to very serious conditions such as stroke and myocardial infarction . For this reason it is very important to know whether the blood pressure is within a healthy range .

Blood pressure fluctuates throughout the day. Therefore it is essential to take regular measurements to help you identify an average blood pressure .

Step 5: Garlic to Get Rid of Any Type of Cold Symptoms

Garlic is one of the earth's greatest health tonics and does indeed have scientifically-proven medicinal properties. It contains a substance called Allicin, which has anti-bacterial properties that are equivalent to a weak penicillin. It is a natural antibiotic and is useful in treating everything from allergies to tonsillitis. Garlic contains many sulfur compounds which detoxify the body, boost the immune system, lower blood pressure and improve circulation. Garlic has also demonstrated anti-cancer, antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-oxidant effects.

Today people use garlic to help prevent atherosclerosis (plaque build up in the arteries causing blockage and possibly leading to heart attack or stroke), reduce colds, coughs and bronchitis.

You can also remove a cold by pouring warm water into a bowl of Menthol .Put a towel over your head and bring your face over the bowl of warm water and drape the towel over it .

Chili powder is a mixture of Chili Pepper (cayenne) and garlic, oregano and salt.

Chili pepper is cayenne, the ground dried fruit of the chili pepper plant.

Capsaicin is the extracted active ingredient, I believe, but if you look on a bottle of Chili powder you'll see the ingredients.

Asprin thins the blood. it simply is a bark extract. Very natural and most doctors recommend it for heart attack prevention.

You are currently taking the lowest dose of aspirin daily which helps to lower your risk of bleeding problems. With that said, you should be extra watchful for excessive bleeding or bruising and immediately report any signs of bleeding to your physician, including pain, swelling, headache, dizziness, weakness, prolonged bleeding from cuts, nosebleeds, bleeding of gums from brushing, red or brown urine, or red or black stools.

If you go hypo for other reasons, you should be examined by a doctor, and you may need to have tests done to find and treat the cause. Do not drink a lot of alcohol either because this can lower your glucose levels for non-diabetics . In rare cases, hypoglycemia may also occur in people with conditions that affect the liver, kidneys, or disorders in the endocrine system, such as the pancreas or thyroid gland or tumors in the pancreas cells. Another cause could also be the presence of an advanced tumor elsewhere in the body. Hypoglycemia is known to occur after binge or heavy drinking of alcohol. It may occur in people on certain medication such as quinine (malaria), salicylates (rheumatic disease) and propranolol (high blood pressure).
