I recently replaced my Power steering pump however the old one is perfectly good. Crusty but functional. I intend to keep this as a spare but first some cleaning is necessary.

Step 1: Engine Degreaser!

Using copious amounts of degreaser and a Scouring pad, I cleaned the old pump as best as I could.

Step 2: Storage!

With the pump cleaned, I plugged the suction and discharge port and sealed her up. Now I have a perfectly good pump should the existing one fail which I hope will not happen!
