Intro: Princess Desktop

For my new apartment i received an old desk from my aunt. Its an unexpensive desk, but in order to follow my decision to gave an re-use to the old things, and i have to save money for other things, i took it with joy.

So i refurbished to make it an princess desk.

Step 1: Sanding De Paper-decoration

Its seems to be a wooden desk, if you look it by far far away, but instead of that i received an old desk from my aunt, with a small detail, the paper was role out. So it i decided to sand it off and paint it with a lighter color.

Step 2: Mark a Curve

In order to give it a pricess look like, i mark a curved using a metal ruler.

Then i cut it with my jigsaw.

Step 3: Edgebanding

With the iron, starts to edgebanding the allready cut details for the sides

Step 4: Add a Edge Decoration

Step 5: The Primer Goes First

Then paint the desk with a spray can of your chosen color

Step 6: More Room for the Wheels

As the lower edge of the desk was smaller than the base of the wheels...

Step 7: Add the Drawer and Drawer Pull

After the desk was finished, i took it to my apartment.

This is a well done instructable. I would like to see one more photo with the desk in better light. Perhaps if the photo were taken at night. It really is a great desk. Thank you for sharing.
