Here is a perfect present to a friend, an adorable charm to add to your cute daily outfit, or even just a fun craft to do on a rainy day!

The Supplies that you will Need:

*Tan Clay
Brown Clay
Red Clay
Green Clay
2 Black Glass Beads
Toothpick
1 Jump Ring
1 Lobster Claw
Pliers (Optional)
Paintbrush
Sculpey Satin Glaze
A Nonstick, Oven-Friendly Craft Tray
An Oven

*I prefer to use the brand "Sculpey" Clay, because it's easy to work with, but you can also use Polymer clay.

Step 1: Making the Buns

First things first. Wash your hands thoroughly to avoid getting your clay dirty.

To start, take the light tannish clay, then flatten it a bit so it fits to the size of a small patty. That will be the bottom of your burger. To make the top bun, you want to take a little more of the tan clay than you did with the bottom patty. Roll it in a ball, than push slightly with your thumb all the way around the perimeter so that it forms a half circle.

To make the puppy's face, you want to roll up two tiny amounts of the tan clay and make them into two little triangles. Push them onto the top of the bun, about a centimeter distance away from each other. Next, take two of the black glass beads and push them into the clay. Lastly, with the toothpick, you want to poke a little dot below the eyes as a nose, and an expressive smile.

Step 2: Adding the Condiments

Tomato's? Lettuce? Meat? You can add any condiments that your heart desires! I usually choose to stick with basic ingredients, but feel free to add more! To make the meat, you take a small piece of brown clay (a little bit smaller than the bottom bun), flatten it, and stick it onto the top of the bottom bun. Do the same with a piece of red clay, but slightly smaller. To make the lettuce, just take an even smaller piece of green clay, and carefully stretch it out so becomes somewhat of a thin sheet and fits evenly over the meat. Place the top bun on the rest of the burger.

Step 3: The Hook

Add the hook by opening the jump ring with pliers (or your fingers), and inserting the lobster claw through it. Then close the jump ring. Gently push it in through the middle of the ears. Once the clay is cooked it can not be remolded, so make sure when you cook it, that's what you want it to look like.

Step 4: Cook'n

To cook your charm, you want to pre-heat your oven to 215°F. Set your charm in the middle of the tray and cook for about 8 minutes, then set out for 5-10 minutes to cool and harden.

Step 5: The Finishing Touch

When your burger is done cooking, you want it to look professional. To add some spiff, take your paint brush and paint two coats of glaze on, waiting fifteen minutes between each application. When you are finished painting both coats on, rinse the paintbrush thoroughly with cold water.
