About: I am a third generation artist with a background in oil painting and watercolors, I fell in love with pyrography in 1984 and have won numerous awards, written 6 books, am a regular contributor to major print...

In this video I will show you how to burn realistic looking eagle feathers with a shader.

This is a fun technique that creates realistic looking feathers without much effort. It takes a bit of effort to get the stroke right, but when you do it is a quick and beautiful technique that will help you create magnificent birds easily.

This is great! I just started woodburning and shading seems intimidating. I'm going to have to figure something out so I can give it a try :)
