Introduction:

A quadcopter, also called a quadrotor helicopter or quad rotor, is a multi rotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors. Quadcopters are classified as rotorcraft, as opposed to fixed-wing aircraft, because their lift is generated by a set of rotors (vertically oriented propellers).Quadcopters generally use two pairs of identical fixed pitched propellers; two clockwise (CW) and two counterclockwise(CCW). These use independent variation of the speed of each rotor to achieve control. By changing the speed of each rotor it is possible to specifically generate a desired total thrust; to locate for the centre of thrust both laterally and longitudinally; and to create a desired total torque, or turning force.

Different sizes of quad copters based on arm to arm gap (or) one end to end.

150mm,180mm,250mm,330mm,450mm,500mm,550mm.

for more acrobatics and speed requirements, low size quads were preferred, and for high stability considerations the size of the quad copter should also be high.

Most famous frame sizes---> 250mm quads will be used for racing / acrobatics and 450mm quad will be used for moderate stability.
