In this Instructable, I'll show you the recipe for a quick green veggie salad. This is for all those workaholics who don't have enough time to cook a meal or for anyone who's moving on to the healthier choices in food.

Step 1: The Ingredients
For this healthy meal, you'll need :
- 2 Capsicum
- 1 Red Onion
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1/2 Cabbage
- Spring Onions
- 1 Lemons
- Salt (as required)
Step 2: Prepping the Veggies
For the salad, the most important and basically the only ingredient is the veggies.
This is a healthy meal, which means you need to make sure that you pick fresh vegetables from the supermarket.
Wash the vegetables thoroughly with water. Especially the cabbage, as they're leafy vegetables, the top few layers tend to contain dust and dirt in them. So it's always advised to remove the first two or three layers of the cabbage before chopping it.
Even the spring onions tend to have a lot of dirt in them, so make sure to clean that well by washing them under running water.
Step 3: Chopping the Veggies
Veggies in salads need to be evenly sized and finely chopped.
- First, chop the Capsicum into fine cubical pieces all of the same sizes and keep them aside.
- Next you'll need to chop the red onions into decent sized cubes.
- And chop the tomatoes.
- When it comes to cabbage, first slice them into fine pieces and then wash it under running water to remove any leftover dirt.
- Hold a bunch of spring onions together and start finely chopping them from one end.
Step 4: Mixing the Veggies
Once you have all the veggies finely chopped and cleaned, add them into a big bowl for mixing. Make sure you have clean hands before continuing any further.
Run your hands through the bowl giving it a nice mix. You can see all the colorful vegetables mixing together in a beautiful way.
Step 5: Improving the Taste
Raw vegetables alone can be a bit hard to consume. So you'll need to add a little bit of salt to the veggies and give it another mix.
Now squeeze a little bit of fresh lemon juice into the salad to compliment the salt you added. Give it one final mix and it's all done.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
After giving the salad it's one last mix, transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish it with a slice of lemon, or simply just get creative with it.
You can serve the salad with other main courses or appetizers, or you can simply breakfast with this yummy mouthwatering salad. You can also kick things up a notch by adding some chili powder or something to make it taste even better.
