All of the ingredients needed for this recipe are things you can purchase at your local grocery store.
1-16 oz. package of frozen strawberries (or any desired fruit)
1/2 cup plain, not-fat yogurt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Pour entire package of frozen fruit and the sugar into a food processor and pulse until coarsly chopped.
Next, make a mixture of the 1/2 cup yogurt and the tablespoon of lemon juice.
The last step of this simple recipe is to pour the yogurt mixture into the food processor while the coarsly chopped strawberries are still in it. Pulse everything together until smooth.
After all of the ingredients are combined and smooth, serve your cold treat immedietly.
This tasty snack could be simply just that, a healthy, cold snack on a hot summer day or a sweet treat that everybody will love; kids and adults alike.
