RE-iNSTALL Automotive Emblems and Badges

Watch the video!! :)

Step 1: Apply the Glue

We are going to use gasket adhesive from 3M to glue on the badge, this stuff works on everything! Put the glue on the flat spots on the badge put it on.

Step 2: Putting on the Badge

To keep the badge on use painters tape so when you take it off it wont damage the paint.

Step 3: Finished

Now take off the tape the next day and take a step back and look at work

Think you might clean both sides with acetone first? Might not fall off in 3 days.

That is a very good tip! You may want to use something other than acetone. This guy I know used acetone to clean my I mean his truck and emblem and after a couple months the clear coat flaked off. I recommend using a tar and wax remover. You can find at any auto parts store in the paint section. If you cannot locate tar and wax remover my next choice would be mineral spirits or rubbing alcohol.
