Introduction: Rainbow Ladder Bracelet
This Rainbow ladder bracelet is an intermediate bracelet. You will need a loom kit. I used a Magical Loom Kit which I got on Amazon. You can get more rubber bands at Michaels. When making these instructions I didn't use specific colors except for black so you can do what ever colors you want. You don't need to use any of the colors I used I just made it an actual rainbow.
Step 1: Make the Border
Make sure the arrows are pointing away from you. Bring your first color from the center to the 1st right peg. Then bring another band of the same color from the center to the 1st left peg. Take your next color and put it on top vertically on your first color on both sides. Repeat this until the end. At the end, bring your last color on both sides into the center.
Step 2: Make the "Ladder" Pt. 1
Now beginning at the second pin on the left, with the arrows still facing away from you, you are going to be placing the corresponding colored band to that above it across all the way to the second pin on the right. Continue this step until you get the end of the loom to right before your last color.
Step 3: Make the Center
Now you are going to place black rubber bands all the way through the center
Step 4: Hook the Center
Now you are going to be making a cap band by making an infinity shape with a black rubber band and overlapping it and holding it with two fingers and put it where you put your last black rubber band. Then reach under the first two blacks of the cap band and grab the 3rd black one then pull it out and loop it onto the next peg. Make sure the cap band stays on the peg with your fingers. Then you will want to continue looping until the end. Make sure you are reaching inside the loop of the one you did previously.
Step 5: Make the "Ladder" Pt. 2
Now beginning at the second pin on the left, with the arrows still facing away from you, you are going to be placing the corresponding colored band to that above it across all the way to the second pin on the right. Continue this step until you get the end of the loom to right before your last color. You can see better pictures of this step in future steps.
Step 6: Loop the Border
Go back to where you put the cap band now reach under all the blacks and grab the second to last band and loop it back to the peg where the other part of the band is. Do the same with the other band that is under the blacks. Next you will need to reach under the two bands of color you just did on both the left and the right. At the end, take the bands of the last colors and bring them into the center like you did earlier in making the bracelet.
Step 7: Finished???
Then reach your hook through your first peg through all the bands and put one end of the rubber band and hold one with 2 fingers and pull it out while still holding the other end. then put both ends on the hook. Then without taking your hook out, pull you bracelet off the loom. But your not done yet...
Step 8: Now Your Finished!
You need to make your bracelet a bit longer. Depending on how much longer you need it, use 4-8 bands and make a short single row bracelet. Make it but don't loop it yet. First take your hook out then you can loop it. Then put an S or C clip. NOW you are done and it is ready to wear.
