Step 1: Gather Your Things

You need the following things for the fishtail pattern
  • Mini-Loom OR Monster-tail Loom OR Rainbow Loom Stand OR Your fingers (avoid doing on your fingers; it can be dangerous if you use those tight bands)
  • Hook
  • S OR C clip

LETS MAKE THIS FISHTAIL DESIGN!

Step 2: Add Your Bands

Add a band in the shape of an infinity (if loom, on two pegs or if fingers, any two fingers)

Add two more bands above it without twisting.

Step 3: Add&Loop

Pull the both sides of the infinity shaped bands over the two bands placed before.

Then add one more band above and loop the band which is at the bottom.

And, yes, keep repeating this.

Step 4: Continue.

Continue doing the "Add&Loop" process. :)

Step 5: End Your Bracelet

You should have two bands on the pegs/fingers

Then add one more band above the two and loop the bottom two.

SEE THE NEXT STEP IF YOU WANT TO ADD AN EXTENSION!

Then transfer one end of the band on the other peg and the bottom end, pull it over.

Add the clip on side which got out and connect it by joining in with the band on the peg.

TADA!

Step 6: Extension (Optional)

After looping the bottom two you would have one band on both pegs, then add one more band on it and loop the bottom ones, add one more and loop the bottom ones. Keep doing it until you have your desired length.

Tip: The extension should (maximum) only 5-6
