This video shows how to remove the marble from a Ramuné bottle in about a minute with simple household tools.  No need to tape a box and crush it; no need to melt the top with a lighter; no need to risk your thumb with a pocket knife.

Just a saw, a clamp, pliers, and safety gear is all you need.  Well, and a Ramuné bottle... :)
