Introduction: Raspberry Horse Racing Cocktail

The Ramble or "Raspberry Bramble" cocktail is a traditional party cocktail in the Horse Racing circuit.

Step 1: You Will Need...

3 lemon wedges

3/1oz raspberry puree

11/2oz gin

3/4oz gomme

1/2oz chambord

Step 2: First...

Muddle the lemons and raspberries with gomme, fill your glass with crushed ice, add gin and churn.

Step 3: Then...

garnish with raspberry and lemon wedge.

Step 4: Just a Note...

this tastes better with real raspberies but the seeds can get stuck in the straw so use your own discretion when deciding to use real fruit or puree.

    Hey, this is a great instructable and is very informative. Just one thing is missing... pictures! It really helps a lot when trying to follow directions so you should consider taking some photographs. Once you do that and leave me a message when you have so that we can publish your work. Thanks!     Those certainly look good, especially here in raspberry country. According to Wikipedia "gomme" is essentially heavy syrup with a bit of gum arabic added to it (emulsifier). Probably to keep the puree from separating from the drink.
