Introduction: Recycled Paper Wallet

About: I like to make stuff a play French horn.

These wallets are a great way to reuse old boxes, comic books, newspapers, or other paper products you have left over. If you want a more durable option, try laminating the material before using it. You can also try laminating it!

Step 1: Select Material

First, get a 12 by 12 inch square of the material that you want to make into a wallet and lay it with the side you want to see face down (for the best results use paper).

Step 2: Vertical Fold

Once you've selected your paper, fold the material into four equal quadrants folding from top down and bottom up as shown in the picture. I found that it was easier for me to fold over a ruler when using a thicker material like paperboard.

Step 3: Horizontal Fold

Next, fold the left and right sides of the paper to the center leaving a little space in-between.

Step 4: Cut

Unfold the sheet and cut down the middle crease to where the blue line in the picture shows. (Be sure to fold the top flaps on either side inside).

Step 5: Fold

Lastly, fold the bottom flaps on each side into the caverns created from folding the top part down.

Step 6: Finished!

Now that you're finished, you can adjust the side of your wallet by pulling it in and out to your desired length!
