How to remove the sharp inner ring from the inside of pull tab tin cans.

Step 1: Step One:

Take your can with the sharp inner ring and your smooth edge can opener and use the can opener on the can as if you are opening it. Be sure to go all the way around.

Step 2: Step Two:

Take the claw part of the can opener and hook it onto the sharp inner ring and pull out. This should pull out with little effort. If it is stuck just go around again with the can opener and try removing again.
