Here is how to remove the internal battery for replacement or in my case, modding the netbook.

Step 1: Remove the Back Cover.

Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, 9 screws came off the bottom cover. Using a flat blade screwdriver I carefully pried the edge clips off Starting on the side of the display hinges.

Step 2: Removing the Battery.

The battery is held by 3 screws. Removing these the battery came out easily however the sata cable to the hdd had to carefully threaded out of the bracket on the battery.

Now a new battery can be installed and the bottom cover replaced.
