Introduction: SRING Ring

About: I have been crafting as long as I can remember. I love sewing the most, but also love jewelry making, baking, painting and any kind of papercraft. I like to collect things I find on the beach and last but not …

Today was one of these grayish days that makes you long for sun and color and garden and all that. So I made myself these colorful mini sping rings.

Step 1: This Is What You Need:

- paper strips
- paper gluestick
- ring base
- glue (I used E6000)
- scissors
- thread with some colored rocailles glas beads

Step 2:

Cut into the paper strip. Stop about 2mm before you cut through. Cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, .......... The single mini strips should be about 1mm wide. Once you finished that start rolling. Add a little glue to the beginning so it won't unravel. After a short while lay the thread with the rocailles onto the fringed paperstrip. Loop it and roll it in, new loop, roll in until all beads are securely fastened in the paper roll. Keep rolling until you reach the end of the strip.

Step 3:

Add a smaller strip and wind it around until the end.

Step 4:

Put the bouquet on the ringbase and check if it is already enough material. In my case there wasn't enough so I cut a pink strip and wound it around as well.
Put a big blob of glue onto the ring base and smudge it into the base of the bouquet. Press the two pieces together slightly. Let dry for a while.

Step 5:

Once the ring is dry, fan it out and arrange it nicely.

GO OUT and ENJOY the compliments!
