Introduction: Safety Third Drawer
Working annually at an event in the desert, I often heard the expression "Safety Third." I work in a machine shop most of the time and decided to make a caddy for our ear protection. It is incredibly loud in there, and I wanted to make our ear plugs more accessible.
The drawer houses about 20 pairs of earplugs, and is wall-mountable. I used corel draw to make the pattern, and a laser cutter to cut it out. Secure the joints with a little bit of wood glue.
The file I used to make this out of 1/4" ply and laser cutter is attached.
