Introduction: Sail Spinner (No 3D Printing)

!!!FIDGET SPINNER!!! : It feels really weird to see that the world is crazy for a fidget spinner that just has the ability to spin and its keeps spinning and it spins even after that. Well this sinister little thing is pretty awesome and we all want it.

So I created this instructable to help all the fidget deprived people to create their own custom fidget spinners without 3D Printing. I don't have a 3D Printer and hence I created a way to build custom fidget spinners that are sturdy and easy to build.

My spinners are created out of cardstock paper and do not require any special equipments.

Step 1: Gathering Materials

1. Bearing

2. Cap

3. Cardstock Paper

4. General purpose glue

5. Scissors/X-Acto Knife (I used silhouette cameo to cut out the patterns)

6. Spray Paint

7. Cutting Mat

Step 2: Print the Pattern

Print the pattern on cardstock paper with size : 7 x 7 cm.

We need at least 10 such patterns.

Step 3: Cut Them Out

Measure the diameter of the bearing and then cut a hole exactly at the centre of the pattern for the bearing.

Cut out 4 sockets for the nuts (weight) and then cut all the patterns neatly.

I used silhouette cameo to cut the patterns but you can also use X-Acto Knife or Scissors.

Step 4: Stack and Stick

Stack the cutouts and stick them together and make sure that they overlap perfectly.

Step 5: Its Painting Time!!

I used fabric paint to colour the spinner.

Step 6: Insert NUTS

Insert the nuts in the sockets.

Step 7: Insert Bearing and Caps

Insert the bearing and cap and your spinner is ready to spin.

Step 8: Finished

Now you have the superpowers to create custom fidget spinners.

Get your brains ready to create unforeseen spinners and when you create them, do share it with me.

Thanks for reading through.
