Set Android Background Process Cache Limit

This setting may reduce lag on older phones with a smaller RAM size. However, it is a developer option, meaning it can lead to a crash especially when multiple apps are involved, and it can drain battery faster.

Three ways to set Android background process cache limit

1) Settings >> Developer Options >> Applications > Background Process Limit.

To enable Developer Options, use Settings >> About Phone >> find the build number >> tap seven times.

2) Use this command with root access, where x is the number of background processes.

service call activity 51 i32 x

3) Use this app: https://github.com/flode/SetAndroidProcessLimit . An *.apk file is also provided.
