In this tutorial I am going to show you how to make a simple BB8 in the Tinkercad.I placed a ruler for my measurements, so you want to use inches as your measurements. You want to start out with a sphere that is 20x20x20. My sphere is blue but I’m going to show you how to fix that in the next step.

Step 1: Changing the Color.

Here is the way to change the color of the sphere. First, tap on it. It should have a blue outline. Then near the top right corner there will be two circles in the white box. One of the circles will be the same color as your sphere. Tap the circle and you will see a variety of colors. I chose orange because it looks most like BB8. Now in your inventory you should have a half sphere. It should be about 15x10. Now color it the same color that your sphere is.

Step 2: Centering the Half Sphere.

place your half sphere directly in the center of the bottom of the sphere. Now use the upside Down cone icon to raise it up to where it is barely still connected. Now you need to tap both items, and in the top right corner there should be a square combines with a circle icon. That is the combine icon so you can click that.

Step 3: Finishing Up.

Make a circle, color it orange, and make it taller, and very thin. Raise it to where it mostly comes out of the top, but it is still partially inside it. The antenna should not be directly on top, it should be a bit to the right. Combine them, and you are done.
