Step 1: Gather Tools and Materials

 Materials needed:

-hard plastic cup

-spring from pen

-top of soap dispenser

-pieces of plastic

-Silver spray paint

-3-4 inch long nail

Tools needed:

-scissors

-hot glue gun

Step 2: Hot Glue Plastic to Inside of Cup

With scissors cut two pieces of hard plastic and glue on opposite sides to inside of cup. Make sure that it is big enough for a toothpaste tube could fit in it.  Now time to get ready for the next step!

Step 3: Make the Spring Mechanism

This part may be a little confusing but thats why I have pictures. First put a hole in the bottom of the cup centered. Next put a hole in the side centered anywhere you want the dispenser. Now with a nail around 3-4 inches long  glue the sharp end to the soap dispenser end. Next slip spring over nail and make it so it stops where the nail and dispenser meet. Glue the end of the spring to the dispenser. Now with hard plastic cut out a washer shaped shape and slip it on the other side of the spring. Now put it all in the hole and Glue washer shape to outside of cup. Now test it out.

Step 4: Spray Paint It Silver

Spray paint this now so it is all silver.

Step 5: Mount It and Add Toothpaste

You can now put a tube of toothpaste in and make adjustments if needed. Good luck with this new instructable! You may even mount it by your toothbrush!
