A tender delicious rendition of Korean Kalbi Ribs

Step 1: Ingredients
3 lbs of beef short ribs
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/8 c. sesame oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
about 12 garlic cloves or half a bulb
1 large tomato
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. black pepper
water
Step 2: Prepare Marinade
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and black pepper.
Step 3: Marinate Ribs
Pour marinade over ribs. Make sure each rib is coated with the mixture. Pour enough water into the pot to cover ribs.
Step 4: Cook
Cook on high for 3 1/2 hrs. Now, cut up large tomato and add to slow cooker. Continue cooking on high an additional 1hr for fall-off-the-bone tender ribs.

Made these last night with big beef ribs. I didn't have any ginger or tomatoes but they were still delish! It was so tender! My son loved it. Thanks for posting the instructable

Yes, very easy loangb. Because it was so easy, I had time to make mashed potatoes and so glad that I did! The finished juices made an excellent gravy. This was a very satisfying meal.

Thank you Danger, they were tasty! This was my first time slow cooking Kalbi ribs as I usually grill them. Next time I will turn up the spice!
