Sourkraut Meatballs Recipe






1000g ground meat

800g sourkraut

250ml cream

100g breadcrumbs

4 spring onions

1 egg

1,5 teaspoons salt

1,5 teaspoons pepper

1 teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon sugar

Step 1: Preparation

Scatter 1 teaspoon salt, one teaspoon pepper & one teaspoon thyme to the meat. Add the egg, breadcrumbs and mix everything together. Form meatballs and place them on an oven plate. Put the plate in the oven at 180 degrees celsius circulating air.

Step 2: The Kraut

Cut the spring onions in small pieces and give them to the meat. Add salt, pepper, sugar & the cream. Mix everything together. After 25 minutes turn the meatballs and place the sourkraut on the plate. Put the plate back in the oven.

Step 3: Finish

After another 25 minutes in the oven it is ready to grab a portion and enjoy. Look at my other work.

    In the ingredients, under the egg, there is a item with no description,... "1,5 teaspoons 1".

    Is this just a typo, or is something missing? The same error is on your YouTube recipe too.

    The recipe sounds delicious, but before trying it I'd like to find out the "missing ingredient"!

    The only missing ingredient is salt probably.

    Its Sauerkraut, not Sourkraut.
