Spicy, crispy super food Kale Chips!
These are so low in fat and high in vitamins, minerals and fibre.
Kale chips are easy to make at home in minutes and are not as expensive as store bought.
Step 1: Prep
1 bunch of kale
1 tbsp. each of chipotle spice & Montreal Steak Spice
1 tbsp. oil or an atomizer with oil ( not non stick spray, keep it natural and healthy)
Wash and pull leaves off of stem.
Try to leave them in large pieces.
Step 2: Dry
Pat with paper towels to absorb any water.
This will help them crisp in the oven.
Step 3: Prep
Using an oil atomizer spray liberally all over.
Massage into the leaves.
Step 4: Seasonings
Season with 1 tbsp. chipotle pepper and 1 tbsp. Montreal Steak Spice
Massage into the leaves all over.
Spread them out on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Place in oven.
Turn the oven on to 350F. When the oven beeps because it is preheated allow to bake for 5min.
Turn the leaves over, then turn the oven off.
Close the door and allow to bake for another 10min.
Turn the leaves over again to bake evenly
If they are not crisp enough, close the door for another 5 min.
