Introduction: Spoiled Dog Beds

About: Sarah has taken her love of fish and is learning to love other animals too. constantly sewing, cooking, baking and making, I have lots of trouble sitting still. I'm spending my time becoming a vet, and trying…

So I made these crazy dog beds in the hope that if the dogs had really cozy beds, they would stay out of my bed!  I have one dog that is a nester by nature, and likes to curl up.  The bigger dog is a couch hog!  So I tried to make him his own couch to accommodate his 'unique' comfort.

Both are made out of fleece, and have zippers on the bottom so the covers can be removed and washed easily.

The couch sewn of the same idea of our couch, just shrunk down.  I gave it structure by rolling some quilts around a pool noodle, and the bottom is many layers of folded blankets.

The nest bed is a doughnut shape with a thick bottom. The sides have structure by rolling a blanket around some flat foam, and then stood up like a doughnut, and the bottom again is filled with folded blankets.
