Introduction: Spooky "Shrikhand" (Indian Dessert)

Shrikhand is very simple and tasty Indian dessert.

Ingredients-
CURD
SUGAR
(i have taken curd of 2 litre milk n 2 cups of sugar- it makes around 12-15 sppoky shrikhand servings)

additional ingredients (only for adding flavors)-
CARDAMOM POWDER
SAFFRON STICKS 3-5
DRY FRUITS (ALMONDS, CASHEW)
[these ingredients are only for adding flavors u can add all of them any of them or none of them..]

decoration ingredients-
CHOCOLATE CHIPS 4
ALMOND 1 [PINK FOOD COLOR COATED]
(per spooky shrikhand serving)

Step 1:

PROCEDURE-
Take curd in a cloth (cloth must be thick enough so that the curd must not pass through it and it must be porous enough so that the water contains in the curd can be dripped out when we hang it)
take corners of cloth together and tie a knot or use a ribbon to tie it properly as shown in photo. (take a plate or bowl below cloth because water starts dripping from it and it may make your platform messy.)
hang that cloth pouch so made above your sink.
keep that pouch for 8 hours or overnight.
after 8 hours open cloth. you will get good cheesy material.

Step 2:

You may pass the cheesy mixture from a sieve so that no lumps remain in the mixture.
Take the cheesy mixture in a bowl/container and add sugar to it
Give it a good mix.
Keep this mixture for a while so that the sugar dissolves.
You may add powdered sugar(instead of normal granulated sugar) for instant shrikhand.

Here the shrikhand is ready

Step 3:

You can add cardamon powder, saffron sticks and dry fruits (this step is totally optional)

TO MAKE IT SPOOKY, TAKE SHRIKHAND IN A BOWL AND PUT CHOCOLATE CHIPS AS ITS EYES AND PUT PINK COLORED ALMOND AS ITS TONGUE.

hope you will love this Indian dessert on Halloween :)
