Intro: Staple Remover Dragon
Add a little fantasy to your reality withthis simple project
So for this project you will need the following materials:
1 staple remover
2 sheets paper
washable school glue
2 squares facial tissue
sand paper, rough
Step 1: A Good Start
sand all plastic surfaces of the staple remover,
then cover in a layer of paper by gluing on small strips
it is best to coat the entire strip with glue rather than applying glue
to the main structure.
Step 2: The Eyes Have It
roll two small paper balls for eyes and glue to top.
next fold a thick strip to place atop the eyes forming the brow ridge
Step 3: Horns
form a horn by folding a 4 in x 1.5 in strip into thirds long ways creating a 4x .5 in. strip and roll it into a spiraling cone clockways. crate the second by rolling counter-clockways. attach these behind the eyes.
Step 4: Jaw Dropper
Build up the lower jaw in the same manner used to make the horns, or sculp to your own fancy.
Step 5: Smoothing
Now apply the facial tissue over all papered areas to smooth out seems and fill gaps.
allow to dry completly before moving on to the next step.
Step 6: Paint
once the glue has dried apply a primer. I prefer grey but black will give your dragon a more sinister feel.
after primer drying is complete paint with water based acryllics, and enjoy.
