Im going to give you step by step instructions for using a vinyl cutter. Using a Vinyl cutter is very simple and you can create amazing things like stencils, stickers, signs, and banners.

Step 1: Step 1

Create an image on inkscape. Make sure it doesn't have too many lines and vectorize it by tracing it to a bitmap.

Step 2: Step 2

Save your image to your dropbox or on the vinyl cutter computer.

Step 3: Step 3

Go to the vinyl cutter and turn on the switch thats on the side. Make sure the speed is 300 and the pressure is 30 so that you get the best results and it wont cut through the back paper on the vinyl.

Step 4: Step 4

On the computer open up SIGNCUT, then go to FILE, OPEN and find your creation. Look and make sure it's the size that you want it. If its not, then just change it.

Step 5: Step 5

Put the vinyl into the Vinyl Cutter through the back and towards the right side where the actual cutter is, then clamp it down the the clamps. If it's a big piece of vinyl then use all three clamps, of it's not then only use two.

Step 7: Step 7

On the vinyl cutter press SELECT and then press the arrows to move the vinyl and the little razor to where you want it. Now press ENTER and the SELECT again.

Step 8: Step 8

On the computer go to FILE and then CUTOUT and then click CUTOUT again.

Step 9: Step 9

Wait until the cutter is done cutting and then unclamp the vinyl and weede of the unwanted vinyl.

Step 10: Step 10

Get some transfer tape and unwind some of it. Place the sticky side of the transfer tape on top of you design and scrape the top hard so it really sticks on the tape. Now you are ready to transfer your image. All you have to do is peel of the backing of the vinyl and your design will be on the tape. THen stick your design onto whatever you want and once again scrape it hard so it sticks then remove the transfer tape
