Introduction: Strawberry Delight Drink for One

About: I started my own account after helping my boyfriend with a few of his own projects on instructables. I love making jewelry and paper mache. My kitchen and I don't always get along but sometimes we try to spe...

I was trying to figure out something interesting with cream cheese and decided to try it in a drink.  I figured the cream cheese would give the drink a little bit of a kick.  By the way, it was so good that I only got a sip of my drink before my boyfriend stole it and wouldn't give it back.  The recipe will make a drink for one so you may want to at least double (my boyfriend says quadruple) the recipe if you have company and want to share.

Recipe
1/2 Cup Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Tablespoon Cream Cheese
2 Tablespoon Vodka
1 Cup of Strawberries

Items Needed:
Blender
Cup
Spoons
Knife
Cutting Board

Step 1: Prep Strawberries

The first thing I did was wash the strawberries and cut them up into smaller pieces to make it easier for my blender.  I also cut a piece out of one of the strawberries to make a garnish for my drink.

Step 2: Blending

I put all the ingredients (cream cheese, strawberries, ice cream, & vodka) in the blender and blended until well mixed.

Step 3: Pour and Drink on Up!

I poured the drink into a glass and added a strawberry for the garnish.

Now if I can just keep someone's hands off the next one I make or maybe I will be nice and double the recipe!

That sounds awesome, I may try it this weekend. I've got some cream cheese and vodka, and it doesn't take much prodding to get me to by strawberries and ice cream!

    Thanks for sharing!

Hope you get a chance to try it! I don't know if the rest of my strawberries will make it to another glass of this because strawberries don't last too long around me :)
